You can be playing for the first time or you can sell out the place with a surprise stop on your stadium tour. The only thing that is required is a supportive attitude. Join the fight for a clean and accessible Harbor by paddling in the Baltimore Floatilla while raising money for its restoration. The Healthy Harbor Initiative is fighting every day for clean water and healthy communities. Money raised by the Floatilla will provide City students with environmental field trips, makeover dirty alleys and help Mr. Trash Wheel and Prof. Trash Wheel keep hundreds of tons of trash out of the water. Following this year’s theme of “Harbor Love,” paddlers are being asked to decorate their boats, boards and themselves. That could mean dressing up as a blue crab, Mr. Trash Wheel, the Domino Sugar sign or anything else that shows one’s love for the waterfront. Prizes will be given for the best expressions of Harbor Love.

The Quickening celebrates the courage and creativity of womanhood as they face a dire situation where science and folklore intersect at a frightening crossroads.

A series of monologues and ensemble pieces about women, clothes and memory covering all the important subjects—mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses and why we only wear black. The subject matter of the monologues includes women’s relationships and wardrobes and at times the interaction of the two, using the female wardrobe as a time capsule of a woman’s life.
