Elise Testone and her All Star Band – Cara Kelly & The Tell Tale
8PM – 1:30AM
The 8×10
10 E Cross St, Baltimore
Elise Testone – A powerhouse vocalist whose incredible stage presence and vocal maturity rank with the best, Elise Testone is the perfect combination of soul, rock, attitude and restraint. Equally as impressive and at ease belting James Brown style vocals over a relentless funk groove as she is resting her voice gently over a ballad, Testone’s range of influences and vocal capacity know few limits.
Cara Kelly & the Tell Tale – soulful, rootsy, rock and roll crosses genre lines and captivates the crowd with their energetic live performances. Led with the fierce intensity of Kelly’s vocals and rounded out with Tim Nodar’s soaring harmonies. Together they focus on crafting their songs and creating a sound that is wholly their own. Along with Cara’s brother Tony Kelly (organ, piano), Audrey Hamilton (bass, vox), and Rob Parrish (drums). Local independent radio station WTMD took notice and CKTT quickly found their niche in the growing Baltimore music scene and beyond, playing the main stages at regional festivals such as Hot August Blues, Lunar Bay, and Camp Barefoot Music & Arts Festivals. They released their second EP “Puncture” in early 2014.

Fruit Tree Fair
10AM – 2PM
Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory and Botanic Gardens of Baltimore
3100 Swann Dr., Baltimore
TreeBaltimore is Baltimore’s program for the coordination of all tree plantings by city agencies, non‑profit organizations, neighborhoods, and community associations. The Baltimore City Fruit Tree Partnership was formed in 2015 with Baltimore Recnparks, TreeBaltimore, Baltimore Orchard Project, and Parks & People Foundation to coordinate community orchard fruit tree plantings throughout the city. Our goal for this event is to create a space for networking, education, and family fun. We plan to offer several workshop and panel sessions for guests to receive some in-depth information that they can take home and practice in their neighborhood whether it’s pruning your fruit tree, or learning about various programs available to help you get a community orchard started! We can grow food as we grow community, all the while increasing the city’s tree canopy! No registration is required, however, free native and urban hardy fruit trees will be provided on a first come- first served basis, so come early, get a tree, and find a workshop to participate in! All Fair happenings will be taking place directly outside and inside of the Beautiful Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory and Botanic Gardens at 3100 Swann Drive in Druid Hill Park!
