Omigosh you guys! I am overwhelmed by the amount of good stuff going on this week in Baltimore. So many theater and comedy shows to attend! I picked a bad weekend to go to the beach. All activities will be aimed toward young children and those young at heart. Activities include handmade crafts, kids zone with activities and petting zoo, retail, food vendors and a selection of wonderful wines. There will also be hot air balloon activities to including flights, tethers balloon rides, and walk-about balloons. There will be live entertainment! All vendors and events will be outside. Friday and Saturday evening activities will culminate with up to 15 Balloons participating in a Balloon Glow at dusk each day. The Make Studio artists’ spirit formed an environment that became ‘Promise Land’.” On display in our gallery will also be large scuptural works by Becker and a selection of recent Make Studio artists’ work. The exhibition runs from July 28-August 11. The reception on August 4 coincides with First Fridays in Hampden and is free and open to the public.

Artists confirmed at this point – Lafayette Gilchrist, Gregory Thompkins, John Dierker, Sarah Hughes Ensemble.
