Hey friends! Still getting into the swing of things. So much uncertainty is hard to deal with. I went to see Steel Magnolias at Everyman Theater last week and it was great! Definitely a tear-jerker. Everyman Theater is requiring proof of vaccination or negative test to attend shows. Trying to share a variety of fun events that are both indoor and outdoor. I am getting excited as we get closer to September – lots of theaters are getting ready to premier their new seasons. I’ve missed live theater so much!

From August 6 through August 29, join us in welcoming back vegan and veg-friendly restaurants during the summer edition of Vegan Restaurant Week: Welcome Back, Maryland! Restaurants are being asked to promote healthier menus with whole food plant-based items that can benefit your health, reduce animal cruelty, and save the environment. Enjoy a variety of plant-based and/or vegan menu items. Customers will get to cast their vote on their favorite dishes. All customers are welcome, not just vegans! Are you up for the challenge? The Original Poe Grave Ghost Tour

Visit the Haunted Burying Grounds and final resting place of Edgar Allan Poe with Paranormalist Vince Wilson. Poe’s Magic Theatre is conducting ghost tours in the Westminster Burying Grounds at the corner of Greene & Fayette.
Tours will start in the lobby of the hotel. Once you reach the Burying Grounds you will learn – The history of the Burying Grounds – The Tale of the Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe! – The Macabre Tale of Frank the Body Snatcher – Stories of the Ghosts of Westminster – The Incredible Tale of “The Poe Toaster” – You will have access to the entire Burying Grounds and the “Catacombs” beneath the church!
