Pie Dough 101 with Bramble Baking Co.
5:30PM – 7PM
Virtual
Join Allie, baker at Bramble Baking Co. in Northeast Baltimore, MD, for a quick but thorough introduction to pie dough.
This virtual workshop will cover the satisfying process of making, rolling out, and crimping/shaping pie dough. This process can be done well ahead, so we’ve timed this workshop to coincide with American Thanksgiving and any pies that might be baked later in the week. The adaptable pie dough recipe Bramble uses for the bakeshop will be sent to attendees. We will focus on building a single pie shell (just the bottom) for a custard, pecan, or crumble pie, but tips will apply to double crust fruit pies and galettes too! We’ll also chat about baking your pie, and tips to ensure all the hard work you put into your dough won’t be lost in the oven.
We’ve factored in what we hope will also be extra time for all of your Thanksgiving baking questions too.
