I’ve officially been supplying you with all things Baltimore for a year now. Happy blogiversary to me! This weekend was exhausting but fun! I attended The Wine and Food Society of Baltimore 70th Anniversary Gala on Friday and sampled Madeira from 1812. How cool is that?! On Saturday I attended the Single Carrot Theatre Season X Homecoming Gala and got to see their current show, A Short Reunion. This coming week is looking to be just as busy! Look at how many events there are! Saturday is insane! Good luck picking what to do! I’ll be at the Charm City Bluegrass Festival all day listening to some amazing music. Be prepared friends; the next few weeks are going to have so much to offer!

Baltimore Urban Farm Ride 2017
9AM – 12PM
Peabody Heights Brewery, LLC
401 E 30th St, Baltimore
Baltimore is a national leader in urban agriculture. For many cities that struggle with food deserts and land vacancy, urban farms present an innovative solution. These green spaces can provide healthy food, promote community involvement, assist our water system, and provide opportunities for education and workforce development. This year, we will highlight a recent development in Baltimore’s urban agriculture movement: flower farms. These bright and colorful community spaces are less focused on providing solutions to healthy food access but help provide income streams to residents. Come out for a fun Saturday morning and learn about this growing sector of urban agriculture in Baltimore! A commemorative t-shirt is included with registration and money raised from ticket sales will be donated to the participating urban farms.
